Welcome to GroupStayHero. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at groupstayhero.com and the services we provide (together, the "Service"). By using the Service — including by clicking "Agree & Continue" when submitting a booking request — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
GroupStayHero is a free matching service that helps groups find vacation rentals. When you submit a booking request, we research options that fit your trip — during our current pilot, a real member of our team curates a shortlist personally — and, when you tell us which properties you like, we introduce you to those hosts so you can book with them directly.
We are not a host, property manager, travel agency of record, or party to any booking. All hosts and properties are independent of GroupStayHero.We do not own, operate, inspect, or control any property, and any rental agreement, payment, or stay is solely between you and the host. It is your responsibility to verify property details, pricing, policies, and the host's terms before booking.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By submitting a booking request, you represent that you are 18 or older.
By submitting your information through our forms, you consent to GroupStayHero contacting you by email about your request — including sending you a curated shortlist of properties and related follow-ups. If you provide your mobile number and check the corresponding box, you also consent to GroupStayHero and the hosts you choose contacting you by text or call about your request. Providing a phone number is optional and is not a condition of using the Service. Message and data rates may apply to texts.
We share your contact details only with hosts you choose to talk to. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
You agree that the information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You may not submit requests on behalf of another person without their permission.
The Service is currently free for guests. We do not add guest fees. Rental prices, deposits, taxes, and any other charges are set entirely by hosts and paid directly to them.
Shortlists we send are suggestions based on the preferences you share and publicly available information about properties. Inclusion of a property in a shortlist is not an endorsement, guarantee of availability or price, or a representation that the host has a relationship with GroupStayHero. Availability and pricing are confirmed by the host directly.

The GroupStayHero name, logo, site design, and content we create are owned by GroupStayHero and protected by applicable law. Third-party property listings, photos, and trademarks referenced in shortlists belong to their respective owners.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROUPSTAYHERO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT OR GUARANTEE ANY HOST, PROPERTY, LISTING ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, PRICING, OR THE QUALITY OR SAFETY OF ANY STAY.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROUPSTAYHERO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY BOOKING, STAY, OR DEALINGS BETWEEN YOU AND A HOST. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold GroupStayHero harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any host.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page. We may suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
